Presented here are two fashion collaborations completed at Thomas Jefferson University from 2023. I collaborated with Lauren Schuler on a fabric for her Bridal Collection and with Terrence Bridges on a fabric for his Streetwear collection. We collaborated on the designs for their respective fabrics, and I then created the artwork, the weave file and wove the fabric, before handing it over to these talented designers to be made into garments. Two Jacquard fabrics were created, both 100% cotton, a single cloth for Lauren, and a Tissue-pick construction for Terry. I was awarded the URBN Award for excellence in Textile Design for my work on Terry’s collection.
